The Trevoli 3S-102UV is a three-stage underbench water filter with 6W UV sterilisation, designed for point-of-use treatment at the kitchen tap. It removes sediment and particles in Stage 1, reduces chlorine and odour in Stage 2, and neutralises 99.9% of bacteria and parasites using UV sterilisation in Stage 3 — no chemicals, no additives.

Connection fittings are not included. This system uses 6mm push-fit connections — fittings are available separately or from your local plumbing supplier.

A pressure reducing valve is included with the system. This is required where inlet pressure exceeds 250 kPa.

What does the UV lamp do?

The 6W UV lamp neutralises 99.9% of bacteria and parasites — including E. coli and Salmonella — in the water passing through the UV chamber. UV light inactivates microorganisms without adding any chemicals to the water.

How does the flow-switch ballast work?

The ballast starts the UV lamp when the tap is opened and shuts it off 5 minutes after the tap is closed. The lamp doesn't run continuously — it only operates when needed, which extends lamp life and reduces power use. The 5-minute delay-off keeps the UV chamber sterilised between uses.

Can I use it with rainwater?

Yes. The 3S-102UV is designed for both mains and rainwater supplies. The three-stage system handles the sediment and microbial load typical of rainwater tank supply.

Filter cartridge replacement intervals depend on water quality and usage — check flow and pressure regularly and replace when performance drops. The UV lamp should be replaced annually regardless of appearance, as UV output reduces over time even if the lamp still glows.
