A fully assembled twin 20" jumbo filter housing set, ready to install as a 2-stage whole house filtration system. Two Big Blue housings pre-mounted and delivered assembled with spanner — connect to your water supply and you're done.
The 20" jumbo format delivers higher flow capacity and longer cartridge life than 10" equivalent systems — the right choice for larger homes, lifestyle blocks, and high-demand supplies.
Select your filter cartridges, bracket type, and pressure gauge options from the dropdowns. Three filter configurations are available to suit rainwater or mains water, or take the housing set only and use your own cartridges.
Bore water quality varies significantly. We recommend testing your bore water before selecting a filtration system — get in touch and we'll help you choose the right configuration for your supply.

Housing only
Take the bare twin housing set and fit your own cartridges. Suits customers who already have cartridges or are sourcing separately.
Rainwater — 20 micron polypleated + 1 micron polyspun
Stage 1: 20 micron polypleated sediment — catches coarse debris, organic matter, and larger particles from tank water. Cleanable and reusable.
Stage 2: 1 micron polyspun sediment — removes fine silt and particles before reaching downstream appliances or a UV system.
Mains water — 5 micron polyspun + 5 micron carbon block
Stage 1: 5 micron polyspun sediment — catches fine sediment and particles from the mains supply.
Stage 2: 5 micron carbon block — reduces chlorine, smell, taste, and colour. The stage that makes the biggest difference to how your water tastes at every tap.

FAQ
Which filter option should I choose?
For rainwater or tank water, choose the rainwater option — the 20 micron polypleated first stage handles the coarser debris typical of tank water, and the 1 micron polyspun second stage catches the fine particles. For town mains water, choose the mains water option — the carbon block second stage is what removes chlorine taste and odour. If you have your own cartridges, choose housing only.
What's the difference between the 10" and 20" twin sets?
Both cover the same two filtration stages. The 20" format holds more media volume — higher dirt-holding capacity, longer cartridge life, and better sustained flow rates under heavy demand. For larger homes and lifestyle blocks, the 20" is the better choice.
Can I use different cartridges to the ones listed?
Yes — the housings take any standard 20" jumbo cartridge (20" × 4.5"). The filter options in the dropdown are our recommended configurations for rainwater and mains water, but you can use any compatible cartridge in these housings.
What is the pressure relief button for?
The pressure relief button on each housing releases pressure before you unscrew it for a cartridge change. Always press it before opening a housing — it prevents water spraying out and makes cartridge changes cleaner and easier.
What's the difference between the bracket and stand options?
The standard and stainless steel brackets mount the housings to a wall. The stand is a freestanding combined stand and bracket unit — no wall mounting required. Useful where wall fixing isn't possible or practical.
Should I add a pressure gauge?
A pressure gauge lets you monitor the pressure drop across the filters — when pressure drops noticeably, it's a reliable sign the cartridges need replacing. Useful if you want to track filter life without guessing.
Do I need a plumber to install it?
For most customers, yes — a licensed plumber is the safest path. The set uses standard 25mm BSP fittings, arrives fully assembled, and comes with a housing spanner. If you're confident with household plumbing, the installation is straightforward. Get in touch if you're unsure.
What warranty does it come with?
2 years. Filter cartridges are consumable items and are not covered by warranty, but get in touch if anything arrives damaged or defective.
