Protect your household water with the Aquano Klarify UV-320, an all-in-one whole-house system combining three-stage cartridge filtration with ultraviolet water treatment.

Designed for larger New Zealand homes using rainwater, bore water or mains water, the UV-320 progressively filters sediment, unwanted chemicals, chlorine, unpleasant taste and odour before the water passes through a high-intensity UV-C chamber. Aquano states that the system can deactivate up to 99.9% of E. coli, Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts under suitable operating conditions.

Both versions use three 20-inch Jumbo filter housings, an Aquano UVS46W ultraviolet system and a UVL46W lamp. They provide a maximum system flow rate of 120 L/min, with a validated UV dose of 30 mJ/cm² at 70 L/min.

Choose between:

  • UV-320I Indoor Version – Designed for indoor installation in garages, pump sheds or plant rooms.
  • UV-320C Outdoor Version – Includes a lockable weather-resistant enclosure for outdoor installations.

Choose Your Installation Version

UV-320I – Indoor

The UV-320I is ideal for installations inside a garage, pump shed or utility room.

Its open-frame design provides easy access to the filter housings and UV chamber for servicing while allowing reversible pipework installation to suit your plumbing layout.

UV-320C – Outdoor With Lockable Cover

The UV-320C is designed for outdoor installations.

It includes a durable, lockable weather-resistant enclosure that protects the filtration system and UV components from the elements while helping prevent tampering. Neoprene housing covers are also supplied for additional weather protection.

Why Choose the Aquano Klarify UV-320?

Whole House Filtration and UV Protection

Installed where water enters your property, the UV-320 treats your water before it reaches every tap, shower and appliance.

Four Stages of Water Treatment

The system combines:

  • Washable pleated sediment filtration
  • Fine polyspun sediment filtration
  • Carbon-impregnated filtration
  • High-intensity UV disinfection

This multi-stage process improves water quality before UV treatment provides an additional barrier against harmful microorganisms.

Suitable for Rainwater and Mains Water

Designed for both rainwater and mains water supplies, the UV-320 provides whole-house filtration and UV treatment for a wide range of residential applications.

Built for Medium to Large Homes

Three 20-inch Jumbo housings provide high filtration capacity while maintaining a maximum system flow rate of 120 litres per minute.

UV Monitoring System

The UV controller includes:

  • Countdown timer
  • Audible alarm
  • Visual warning indicators

These features make it easy to know when the UV lamp requires replacement or if a fault occurs.

Chemical-Free Water Treatment

Ultraviolet light disinfects the water without adding chemicals, helping preserve the natural taste of your water.

Ready to Install

Supplied pre-assembled with filter cartridges, UV lamp, pressure gauges, housing spanner, surge protector and weather covers.

The UV-320C also includes the lockable outdoor enclosure.

How It Works

Water passes through four treatment stages before entering your home's plumbing.

Stage 1 – Washable Pleated Sediment Filter

The washable pleated cartridge removes larger particles including:

  • Dirt
  • Rust
  • Grit
  • Leaves
  • Tank sediment

The cartridge can be cleaned and reused, helping reduce running costs.

Stage 2 – Fine Polyspun Sediment Filter

The second cartridge removes fine suspended particles including:

  • Sand
  • Silt
  • Fine rust
  • Dirt

This stage filters particles down to 1 micron while helping protect the UV system.

Stage 3 – Carbon-Impregnated Filter

The carbon cartridge helps reduce:

  • Chlorine
  • Unwanted chemicals
  • Taste
  • Odour

It also provides final polishing before UV treatment.

Stage 4 – UV Disinfection

Filtered water passes through the stainless-steel UV chamber where high-intensity UV-C light disinfects the water.

Under the manufacturer's operating conditions, the system can deactivate up to 99.9% of:

  • E. coli
  • Giardia
  • Cryptosporidium cysts
