The Aquano PGOF214 is a 2" stainless steel pressure gauge. It's glycerine (oil) filled, which damps the needle so it doesn't flutter with pump or line vibration.
On a filter housing or water line, a gauge shows your working pressure at a glance. A drop in pressure after the filters is a sign the cartridges are clogging and due for a change. Check the reading against your system's normal pressure.
