The Aquano SW1001J is a string wound sediment cartridge for 10" Jumbo housings. It's for reducing sand and silt, and for high-temperature water situations such as ring mains, so it suits hot water lines as well as everyday sediment duty.
Aquano doesn't list a micron rating for it, so match it to the cartridge you're replacing. Use 6–12 months as a general guide, and change it sooner if the flow drops or the water looks dirty. It's an alternative to the Puretec GW10LD1. On tank water, pair it with UV.
