Common questions

How long will it last?

Divide 28,400 by the TDS of the water going in (in ppm) for a rough number of litres. For example, RO water at 10 ppm gives about 2,800 litres. Aqualine's figure is lab tested on 10 ppm water.

Can I regenerate it?

No. It's a non-regenerable cartridge, so replace it when it's spent.

Will it fit my housing?

Fits any 10" Standard housing: about 10" long and 2.5" wide. Check the size on your old cartridge.

Full product details

Read the full description

The Aqualine DI-2 is a de-ionising cartridge for 10" Standard housings, about 2.5" wide, filled with mixed bed ion exchange resin. It takes dissolved ions out of the water, so it's for jobs that need de-ionised water, such as polishing RO water or lab use.

Aqualine makes it as a polisher for low-TDS water, with a foam pre-filter and a spun polypropylene post-filter built in. It's rated at about 1 L/min. How long it lasts depends on the TDS of the water going in: divide 28,400 by the TDS in ppm to get roughly how many litres it'll treat. It can't be regenerated, so replace it when it's spent. We recommend feeding it RO water or other low-TDS water, as harder water uses it up much faster.
