A 10" x 2" inline filter with granular activated carbon (GAC) and polyphosphate. The carbon reduces chlorine, taste and odour, and the polyphosphate helps limit scale build-up. How well it controls scale depends on your water.

Which one? Pick K2586 JJ for ¼" quick connect tube, or K2586 BB for female threaded ends. It's certified to NSF/ANSI 42 for chlorine, taste and odour, and rated at 4,732 litres at 1.9 L/min. We recommend changing it every 6 months or at 4,732 litres, whichever comes first.
