Pentair's Pentek housing spanners are shaped to the ribs of their filter housings, so they grip without slipping and open a tight bowl without damaging it.
SW1 suits Slimline housings, SW2 the Standard Heavy Duty housings, SW3 the Big White jumbo housings and BBH/SP the Big Blue jumbo housings. Pick the spanner that matches your housing, then keep it with your spare cartridges so the next change goes smoothly.
