A light, compact submersible pump for dewatering sumps, pumping out flooded areas, and clearing swimming pools. The Trevoli JH40011 has an internal float switch that won't foul in confined spaces, and a mode switch that lets you choose between automatic and manual operation.
In automatic mode the pump turns on at 150mm water depth and shuts off at 70mm. In manual mode it runs continuously and can pump down to 5mm — useful when you need to clear as much water as possible.
Comes with a 10 metre cord with 3-pin plug and a non-return flap valve. Plug in, drop in, and it's working.
Not suitable for construction sites, ponds, fountains, swimming pool water in use, or bio-treatment systems.

Why choose the Trevoli JH40011
- Internal float switch — won't foul in small sumps where external floats can jam
- Two operating modes — automatic float-controlled operation or continuous manual mode
- Pumps down to 5mm in manual mode — clears almost all standing water
- Non-return flap valve included — prevents water flowing back when the pump stops
- Light weight — 4.5 kg, easy to handle and position
- 10 metre cord with 3-pin plug — ready to use straight out of the box
- Max immersion depth of 7 metres — suits deep sumps and pits
How it works
The JH40011 is a submersible pump — it operates fully submerged in the water it's pumping. The internal float switch detects water level and manages automatic operation: when water rises to 150mm the pump starts, and when it drops to 70mm the pump stops.
Switch to manual mode and the pump runs continuously regardless of water level, pumping down to as low as 5mm. This is useful for situations where you want to clear the maximum amount of water rather than relying on the float to cycle the pump.
Water exits through the outlet — available in 32mm or 25mm via the included adaptor — and through the non-return valve, which prevents water from flowing back into the sump when the pump shuts off.
Not suitable for
The JH40011 is designed for clean or lightly dirty water dewatering. It is not suitable for:
- Construction sites
- Ponds
- Fountains
- Swimming pools in use
- Bio-treatment systems
For these applications a different pump type is required — get in touch and we'll help you find the right fit.

Frequently asked questions
What is the JH40011 suitable for?
It's designed for light to medium duty dewatering — pumping out sumps, flooded areas, and swimming pools (when not in use). It handles water with solids up to 5mm in size. It is not suitable for construction sites, ponds, fountains, swimming pools in active use, or bio-treatment systems.
What's the difference between automatic and manual mode?
In automatic mode the internal float switch controls the pump — it turns on when water reaches 150mm and shuts off at 70mm. In manual mode the pump runs continuously regardless of water level and can pump down to 5mm. Use manual mode when you want to clear as much water as possible.
Why does it have an internal float switch?
An internal float switch is less likely to foul or jam in small sumps where an external float would be restricted by the sump walls. The JH40011's internal float is specifically designed for installation in confined spaces.
What is the non-return valve for?
The non-return flap valve prevents water from flowing back through the pump outlet when the pump stops. This keeps the discharged water out of the sump and protects the pump from backflow pressure.
Can I use it in a pond or fountain?
No — the JH40011 is not suitable for ponds, fountains, or decorative water features. Get in touch and we'll help you find the right pump for those applications.
Does it need to be fully submerged?
Yes — it is a submersible pump and must be submerged during operation. The maximum immersion depth is 7 metres.
What warranty does it come with?
1 year.
