Will it fit my existing mixer tap?
Yes—both kits connect to a standard ½″ BSP (15 mm) cold line. If your tap uses a different thread, adapters are readily available.
Can I install it myself?
We recommend a licensed plumber. That said, both kits are simple to fit with standard under-sink connections and clear guides.
Will it reduce my water pressure or flow?
Minimal pressure loss at typical kitchen flows. The Davey HF1M is high-flow (up to ~9.5 L/min). If a cartridge clogs over time, you’ll notice reduced flow—that’s your cue to replace it.
How often do I change the filter?
Every 6–12 months depending on water quality and usage. For the best taste, change every 6 months.
How soon will I taste a difference?
Usually immediately. Tea and coffee often taste cleaner once taste/odour compounds and fine particulates are reduced.
Mains or rain/tank—does it work for both?
Yes. Both systems are suitable for mains and rain/tank supplies.

Is it safe for babies & pets?
Yes—these are drinking-water filters. Keep to the replacement schedule for best performance.
What space do I need under the sink?
