The Aquano GAC2010S is a granular activated carbon cartridge for 20" Standard housings. Aquano designed it to reduce chlorine, taste and odour, and it filters particles down to 10 micron, so it suits slimline systems on town water.
It's filled with coconut shell granulated carbon. Its capacity is rated at 16,000 litres. Use 6–12 months as a general guide, and change it sooner if you use a lot of water, the flow drops or the chlorine taste comes back. It's an alternative to the Puretec GA052.
