What it removes

Filtered and UV-treated water at every tap

The UV-220C filters sediment, then treats the water with UV before it reaches your taps.

  • Sediment

Washable pleated cartridge that catches the larger sediment first, which protects the finer stage after it.

  • Fine sediment

Graded-depth poly spun cartridge that traps sand, dirt and fine sediment down to 1 micron.

  • UV disinfection

The UV stage treats bacteria including E. coli, plus Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts, with no chemicals added.

How it works

Two stages, then UV

Water passes through each filter stage in order, then the UV chamber, before it reaches every tap in the house.

  • Lamp countdown timer

The controller counts down the UV lamp life, so you know when it's due.

  • Failure alarm

An audible and visible alarm warns you if the lamp fails.

  • All-in-one unit

Filtration and UV in one unit, in durable anti-corrosion metal.

  • Lockable weather lid

Full product details

Read the full description

The Aquano Klarify UV-220C filters your water and then treats it with UV, for rainwater and rural supplies. The C version adds a lockable, tamper-resistant weather lid and weather covers for the filter housings, for outdoor sites.

Water passes a washable pleated cartridge and a 1 micron polyspun cartridge, both 20" jumbo, then a 46W UV chamber. It delivers 30 mJ/cm² at 70 L/min, with a maximum flow of 120 L/min. Ports are 1" BSP and the working pressure is 300–875 kPa. A countdown timer tracks lamp life and gives an audible and visible alarm when the lamp fails or is due.

Change the filter cartridges and the UV lamp every 12 months, and reset the ballast after a lamp change. It's covered by the Aquano Hassle Free Warranty.
