Common questions

HS50-06T or HS60-08T?

The HS50-06T is rated for up to 4 taps at once and up to 80 lpm, and the HS60-08T for up to 5 taps at once and up to 110 lpm. Both come with the Torrium2 TT70 controller at 500 kPa nominal pressure.

What does the Torrium2 controller do?

Davey describes it as constant flow control with a loss of prime device for automatic water pressure, so the pump doesn't cycle. It comes connected electrically to the HS pump motor.

Can it lift water from a tank below the pump?

The maximum suction head is 6 m.

What does AS/NZS 4020 certification mean?

Davey's HS pressure systems, including the Torrium2, are certified to AS/NZS 4020. The standard covers products in contact with drinking water: they must not affect its taste or appearance, support the growth of micro-organisms, or release cytotoxic or mutagenic compounds or metals into the water.

What warranty does it have?

The HS series has a 2-year (24 month) manufacturer's warranty.

Davey's HS is a higher pressure home system for medium to large, single and multi-storey homes, for household supply and pressure boosting. The HS50-06T is a 4-stage horizontal centrifugal pump with a 304 stainless steel casing, paired with Davey's Torrium2 TT70 controller at 500 kPa nominal pressure.

It's rated for up to 4 taps at once and up to 80 lpm, with a 0.6 kW output motor (0.89 kW input, IP55) on 220–240 V. Davey's HS limits are 700 kPa maximum system pressure, 50 m total head and 6 m suction head. The pump inlet is 1¼" F BSP and the Torrium2 outlet 1" M BSP. It's certified to AS/NZS 4020.

2-year manufacturer's warranty. If you drink your tank water, pair it with filters plus UV.
