Common questions
XJ50T, XJ70T or XJ90T?
The XJ50T is rated for up to 4 taps at once and up to 50 lpm, the XJ70T for up to 5 taps and 70 lpm, and the XJ90T for up to 6 taps and 90 lpm. All run at 500 kPa nominal; the XJ50T and XJ90T use the Torrium2 TT45, the XJ70T the TT70.
Can it pull water from a tank below the pump?
Yes. The XJ is ideal when drawing water from a level below the pump, such as a buried or partially buried tank, with a maximum suction head of 7 m. Installations with suction lift need a good quality foot valve, with the in-built check valve removed.
Can I use it on mains water?
XJ systems are intended for wells, tanks, creeks, rivers and other low pressure supplies. Where mains pressure exceeds 100 kPa, a break tank system is required, or use a Davey HS system. Local plumbing code requirements apply.
What does AS/NZS 4020 certification mean?
Davey's XJ water pressure systems are certified to AS/NZS 4020. Products in contact with drinking water must not affect its taste or appearance, support the growth of micro-organisms, or release cytotoxic or mutagenic compounds or metals into the water.
What warranty does it have?
The XJ water pressure systems have a 24 month manufacturer's warranty.

Davey's XJ is a single stage, jet assisted centrifugal pump. It's ideal for drawing water from below the pump, such as a buried or partially buried tank, and for wells, creeks, rivers and other low pressure supplies. The XJ70T is paired with Davey's Torrium2 TT70 controller at 500 kPa nominal pressure.
The XJ70T is rated for up to 5 taps at once and up to 70 lpm, with 0.8 kW output on 220–240 V. XJ pumps reach up to 48 m total head and 7 m suction head. The motor is IP55, the pump inlet is 1" F BSP, the outlet 1" M BSP, and it weighs 12 kg. It's certified to AS/NZS 4020.
