DMfit's stem adapter screws into a ¼" female threaded port and gives a smooth stem that plugs into any push-in fitting of the same size. ASA0604 has a ⅜" stem and a ¼" NPTF thread. ASA0804M has an 8 mm metric stem.
DMfit makes its push-in fittings from acetal copolymer (POM) and lists FDA, WRAS and ANSI/NSF-51 and 61 approvals. Tube pushes in to connect and releases by holding back the collet.
