The DMfit ATBC0505 tube barb connector joins a push-fit system to soft hose. The smooth 5/16" stem plugs into a 5/16" push-in fitting, such as an elbow or tee, and the ridged 5/16" barb grips inside soft vinyl or rubber tubing, such as a drain line.
DMfit makes its push-in fittings from acetal copolymer (POM) and lists FDA, WRAS and ANSI/NSF-51 and 61 approvals. Tube pushes in to connect and releases by holding back the collet, and fittings and tube can be reused.
