This is the replacement flow switch for Waimana flow-activated UV systems. It turns the UV lamp on when a tap opens and water starts to move, then switches it off again when the flow stops.
Because the lamp only runs with flow, water doesn't sit and warm up in the chamber. If your lamp no longer comes on with the tap, or stays on with every tap closed, the flow switch is the usual part to check.
