The Aquano CB1010J is a 10 micron carbon block with silver for 10" Jumbo housings. It reduces PFAS, chlorine, bad taste and odour, so it suits the carbon stage of a whole house system on town water.
It's made from coconut shell activated carbon, and Aquano adds an anti-bacterial agent to stop microbes growing in the filter itself. It's rated at 30 L/min, and it's the carbon stage in the Aquano Klarify M-210. Use 6–12 months as a general guide, and change it sooner if the flow drops or the chlorine taste comes back. It's an alternative to the Puretec CB10MP1 & EC10LD1.
