Does it switch itself on and off?

Yes. The D23A/B has a float switch that starts the pump as water rises and stops it when it has pumped down to the pump's safe operating level.

What water can it pump?

Clean water of neutral pH containing up to 1% small solids. Sand, grit and hard solids will wear the pump faster. It's not for sewage or dirty water with solids.

How much water can it move?

NZ product page: capacities to 50 lpm; datasheet: 52 lpm. We quote 50 lpm. Maximum total head is 22.5 m.

What warranty does it have?

Davey's D23A/B is the smallest of its high head drainage pumps, built for low flow jobs. It suits rainwater, lawn and garden irrigation and sump emptying to low heads. It has a float switch for automatic operation, a double mechanical seal, a 304 stainless steel shaft, motor shell and fasteners, and a 10 m oil resistant lead with a 3-pin plug.

The D23A/B is rated at 0.2 kW output (0.38 kW input) on 220–240 V single phase, with a 22.5 m maximum total head, 7 m maximum submergence and a 1" F BSP outlet. NZ product page: capacities to 50 lpm; datasheet: 52 lpm. We quote 50 lpm. It handles clean water of neutral pH with up to 1% small solids, and weighs 6.25 kg.

It comes with a 24-month warranty. It's not for sewage or dirty water with solids.
