A washable pleated sediment cartridge for 10" Jumbo (Big Blue) housings, about 4.5" wide. The pleats give it a large surface area for catching sediment, so it suits tank, bore and river water in a whole house system.
Which micron? Pick 50 micron (10BPF50) for heavy sediment, 20 micron (10BPF20) as a standard first stage, or 5 micron (10BPF05) or 1 micron (10BPF01) as a finer stage before UV. When the flow drops, rinse it and reuse it. Replace it every 6–12 months, or when cleaning no longer brings the flow back.
