A radial flow granular carbon cartridge for 10" Jumbo (Big Blue) housings, about 4.5" wide. It reduces chlorine taste and odour through the whole house with very little pressure drop, so it suits high-flow systems on town water.
Water flows sideways through a bed of granular carbon held in a porous outer shell, which cuts down the carbon fines you get from some granular cartridges. It's rated at 25 micron and over 189,000 litres of chlorine reduction at 7.6 L/min. Change it every 6–12 months.
