  • Drinking tap

    Uses your tap

    No new tap. The system connects to the cold water line of your existing sink tap, so filtered water comes out of that tap.

  • Filter assembly

    Included

    Mounting bracket with connection head, the HF1M-R cartridge and screws.

  • Hoses and fittings

    Included

    3 braided hoses (½", 450mm), a ½" non-return valve, a ½" MxF brass adaptor, 2 ½" brass nipples and 1m of thread tape.

We recommend a licensed plumber or certified technician installs the system, and it must meet local plumbing rules.

How often do I change the cartridge?

We recommend every 6 months. The HF1M-R is rated for up to 65,000 litres.

Does it come with a tap?

No. It connects to the cold water line of your existing sink tap, so filtered water comes out of that tap.

Can I use it on rainwater?

Rainwater needs pre-treatment first: a 20 micron pleated cartridge, then a 1 micron spun cartridge, then UV.

Who should install it?

We recommend a licensed plumber or certified technician, and it must meet local plumbing rules.

The Davey Microlene HF1M filters all the cold water through your existing kitchen tap, so you don't need a second tap.

It's a 5-stage cartridge filtering to 1 micron, and it reduces chlorine, taste, odour, sediment and THMs, with softening beads to help with scale. Flow is up to 9.5 L/min. It's certified to AS/NZS 3497 and tested to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53. The HF1M-R replacement cartridge twists in and out.

Change the cartridge every 6–12 months. 5-year manufacturer's warranty. Rainwater may need sediment and UV treatment first.

If you drink your tank water, pair it with filters plus UV.
