Clean, filtered and UV-treated water throughout your home
The Waimana Pure II is a compact whole-house water filtration system designed to deliver clean, UV-treated water to every tap in smaller homes, holiday homes and rural properties.
Combining two stages of sediment filtration with a powerful 33W UV chamber, the Pure II helps remove sediment while providing chemical-free protection against harmful microorganisms. With a flow rate of up to 30 litres per minute, it's an excellent choice for mains water, rainwater tanks and bore water supplies serving smaller households.
The system arrives fully assembled on a heavy-duty wall bracket and connects using standard 1-inch / 25mm BSP fittings with a standard 240V power supply.
Choose Your Configuration
Pure II
The standard Pure II is designed for indoor or sheltered installations.
Its compact wall-mounted design provides reliable whole-house sediment filtration and UV protection while remaining easy to service.
Pure II Shield
The Pure II Shield provides the same filtration performance, UV treatment and flow rate while adding:
- Protective enclosure
- Pressure gauge
- Suitable for indoor and outdoor installation
The pressure gauge allows you to monitor filter performance and provides an early indication when cartridges are becoming loaded and ready for replacement.
Both systems deliver identical water treatment performance. The only differences are the enclosure and pressure monitoring.
Why Choose the Waimana Pure II?
Designed for smaller homes
The Pure II is ideally suited to smaller households, holiday homes and properties with lower water demand while still delivering whole-house UV protection.
Two-stage sediment filtration
Two high-capacity sediment filters help reduce dirt, rust, silt and suspended particles before water reaches the UV chamber.
Chemical-free UV protection
The 33W UV chamber helps protect your household water against harmful microorganisms without adding chlorine or treatment chemicals.
Flow-Activated UV Technology
Unlike conventional UV systems, the Pure II only powers the UV lamp when water is flowing.
Benefits include:
- Lower electricity consumption
- Extended UV lamp life
- Prevents water warming inside the chamber
- Treatment only when required
Compact wall-mounted design
The compact footprint makes installation simple while still providing excellent whole-house filtration performance.
Designed for New Zealand water supplies
Suitable for:
- Mains water
- Rainwater tanks
- Bore water
- Holiday homes
- Smaller family homes
Three-year manufacturer's warranty
The Pure II is backed by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty covering the UV chamber, filter housings and workmanship.
How the Treatment Stages Work
Stage 1 — 20 Micron Polypleated Sediment Cartridge
Captures larger sediment, dirt, rust and suspended particles before they reach the finer filtration stage.
Stage 2 — 1 Micron Polyspun Sediment Cartridge
Removes finer sediment, silt and suspended particles down to 1 micron, helping improve water clarity before UV treatment.
Stage 3 — 33W UV Treatment
The filtered water then passes through the 33W UV chamber, delivering chemical-free microbiological treatment before reaching every tap in your home. The technical specification lists a 33W UV lamp with a 30mJ/cm² UV dose.
Best Suited For
The Pure II is ideal for:
- Smaller homes
- 1–2 person households
- Holiday homes
- Rainwater tank supplies
- Bore water supplies
- Mains water
- Homes wanting reliable sediment filtration and UV protection
If you're looking to improve water taste and odour as well as sediment removal, consider the Pure III, which adds a carbon block filtration stage.
