D15VA or D15VAGMA?
They're the same pump with different floats. Davey's D15VAGMA float starts the pump at 230 mm and stops it at 140 mm, which suits a smaller sump. Both have a recirculation port to keep soft solids stirred up.
What's a vortex pump good for?
Davey's vortex impeller sits back from the flow, so it's less likely to block and handles soft solids in suspension. We recommend vortex pumps for water with hair.
How much water can it move?
The D15VA / D15VAGMA has capacities to 140 lpm and heads to 7 m, with soft solids up to 20 mm.
What shouldn't it pump?
Don't pump sand, grit or abrasive materials, flammable or corrosive fluids, or stringy waste and sanitary products. Davey's cutter and grinder pumps are made for those.

Davey's vortex grey water pumps use a semi vortex, open impeller that's less likely to block, so they can pump soft solids in suspension. The D15VA / D15VAGMA suits grey water pumping, sump emptying, septic effluent disposal, water transfer, light slurries and factory waste. It has a 304 stainless steel motor shell, shaft, strainer and fasteners, a sand slinger and a float switch for automatic operation. The D15VA and D15VAGMA have a recirculation port that keeps soft solids stirred up in the sump so they're pumped away. The D15VAGMA has a different float, starting at 230 mm and stopping at 140 mm.
The D15VA / D15VAGMA is rated at 0.15 kW (150 W) on 220–240 V single phase, with capacities to 140 lpm, heads to 7 m, soft solids to 20 mm and a 1¼" F BSP outlet. It handles clean or grey water of neutral pH with up to 10% small soft solids or 1% fine solids, and weighs 5 kg.
It comes with a 24-month warranty. For stringy waste or raw sewage with sanitary products, we recommend Davey cutter or grinder pumps instead.
