The D75KA has an automatic float switch with a preset float length. The D75KM is manual: switch it off by hand, or with an external float or level switch, once water drops to the top of the pump housing.

What's the difference between a cutter and a grinder pump?

Davey's cutter pumps cut string like material at the impeller. Davey's grinder pumps shred soft organic solids and sanitary products to a slurry, so use a grinder where sanitary products or wipes go down the drain.

Can it handle wet wipes or sanitary products?

No. Cutter pumps aren't suitable for sanitary products. Use a Davey grinder pump instead.

How much water can it move?

The D75KA's flow and head are shown as a performance curve rather than single figures. Ask us and we'll read the curve for your lift and pipe run.

What warranty does it have?

Davey's D75KA and D75KM cutter pumps have an open, single channel impeller with a tungsten carbide cutting tip that cuts string like material, cutting the risk of blockage in the pump or pipework. They suit sewage water, sump emptying, septic effluent disposal, water transfer, light slurries, factory waste and waste water with stringy or long soft solids. The D75KA has an automatic float switch with a preset float length. The D75KM is manual.

The D75KA is rated at 0.75 kW on 220–250 V single phase, with a 2" F BSP outlet, a 10 m lead with bare wire ends, 20 m maximum submergence and soft solids up to 80% of the discharge size. It handles semi-screened sewage or grey water of neutral pH with up to 20% small soft solids or 1% string like solids, and weighs 30 kg. Flow and head are shown as a curve, so we haven't listed single figures. It suits Davey's SR50 slide rail kit.

It comes with a 2-year warranty. Cutter pumps aren't suitable for sanitary products or wipes: use a grinder pump.
