    The DC10 suits cellars, garage floodwater and emptying pools.

  • Shallow pits, partly submerged

    Good fit

    The double case keeps the motor cool when it's not fully submerged. We recommend a pit of at least 200 × 450 × 450 mm.

  • Clean water with fine soft solids

    Good fit

    Clean water with up to 10% soft solids under 4 mm.

  • Sewage, effluent or stringy waste

    Not this one

    We recommend Davey vortex, cutter and grinder pumps for effluent, hair, stringy materials and sewage.

  • Fish ponds or aquaculture

  • Emptying a swimming pool

    Consider

DC10A or DC10M?

The DC10A has a float switch for automatic operation. The DC10M is manual: switch it off by hand, or with an external float or level switch, before the water drops below the pump.

How much water can it move?

The DC10 has capacities to 80 lpm and 6 m maximum head, from a 1" M BSP outlet.

Can it run when it's only partly under water?

Yes. Davey's double case design lets water flow around the motor so it stays cool when it's not fully submerged.

What warranty does it have?

The DC10A and DC10M come with a 24-month warranty.

Davey's DC10 is a compact double case pump: water flows around the motor, so it stays cool and can run partly submerged in shallow pits. It suits cellars, garage floodwater and emptying pools. It has a 304 stainless steel shell, ABS casing and polycarbonate impeller. The DC10A has a float switch for automatic operation. The DC10M is manual.

The DC10 is rated at 0.1 kW on 240 V single phase, with capacities to 80 lpm, 6 m maximum head and a 1" M BSP outlet. It handles clean water with up to 10% soft solids under 4 mm, and weighs 4 kg. We recommend a pit of at least 200 × 450 × 450 mm.

It comes with a 24-month warranty. It's not suitable for fish ponds or aquaculture.
