Fit check

Is it right for my water supply?

A quick check before you buy.

  • Floodwater, cellars and garages

    Good fit

These double case pumps suit cellars, garage floodwater, sump emptying and dirty water.

  • Shallow pits, partly submerged

    Good fit

The double case lets water flow around the motor so it stays cool when it's not fully submerged.

  • Grey water or septic effluent water

    Good fit

Sewage or grey water of neutral pH with up to 10% small soft solids under 10 mm, including septic effluent water disposal.

  • Raw sewage, sanitary products or stringy waste

    Not this one

We recommend Davey cutter and grinder pumps for stringy materials and raw sewage with sanitary products.

  • Float or manual

    Good fit

The DCS75A has a float switch for automatic operation. The DCS75M is manual: switch it off by hand or with an external float or level switch.

  • Emptying a swimming pool

    Consider

Emptying pools is another use. They're not for recirculating or filtering pools or spas, and never with people in the water.

Common questions

DCS75A or DCS75M?

The DCS75A has a float switch for automatic operation. The DCS75M is manual: switch it off by hand, or with an external float or level switch, before the water drops below the pump.

What's a double case pump?

Davey's double case design lets water flow all around the motor, so it stays cool and can run when it's only partly submerged, which suits shallow pits.

What water can it pump?

Sewage or grey water of neutral pH with up to 10% small soft solids under 10 mm. For raw sewage with sanitary products or stringy waste, we recommend Davey cutter or grinder pumps.

How much water can it move?

Flow and head are given as a performance curve rather than single figures. Ask us and we'll read the curve for your lift and pipe run.

What warranty does it have?

The DCS75 comes with a 12-month warranty.

Full product details

Read the full description

Davey's double case pumps are made to stay cool when they're not fully submerged: water flows right around the motor, so the DCS75A / DCS75M can run partly submerged in shallow pits. They suit dirty water, sump emptying, septic effluent water disposal and small soft solids, as well as cellars, garage floodwater and emptying pools. The outer case and strainer are 304 stainless steel, with a double mechanical seal in an oil bath and a sand slinger. The DCS75A has a float switch for automatic operation. The DCS75M is manual.

The DCS75A / DCS75M is rated at 0.75 kW on 220–240 V single phase, with a 2" F BSP outlet, a hose tail and a 10 m HO7RN-F lead with a 3-pin plug. It handles sewage or grey water of neutral pH with up to 10% small soft solids under 10 mm, and weighs 25 kg. Flow and head are given as a curve, and there's no submergence figure for this model.

The DCS75 comes with a 12-month warranty. For raw sewage with sanitary products or stringy waste, we recommend Davey cutter or grinder pumps instead.
