Both are Davey 10" Jumbo carbon blocks. ACB10J is 5 micron. BPAC10J is 0.5 micron and is tested to 99.9% reduction of Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts.
How often should I change it?
Change it every 6–12 months, and sooner if the flow drops. Replace carbon when the taste or smell returns.
Will it fit my housing?
It fits any 10" Jumbo housing: about 10" long and 4.5" wide. Check the size on your old cartridge.

If your water looks clear but still tastes or smells of chlorine, a Davey Microlene carbon block is a good fix. It's a solid block of bonded activated carbon, made from FDA grade materials, that catches fine sediment and reduces chlorine, taste, odour, pesticides and THMs in one stage.
Which micron? Pick the 5 micron ACB10J for a whole house system on town water. It's the more open block, so it copes better with sediment and lasts longer, and it's WaterMark certified. Change it every 6–12 months. Pick the 0.5 micron BPAC10J for a final drinking water stage. It's finer, and it's tested to remove over 99.9% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts, but plan to change it every 6 months.
