A polyspun sediment cartridge for 10" Standard housings, about 2.5" wide. It's made from food grade polypropylene with no binders or fillers, and it catches fine sediment, rust, silt and algae. It suits a drinking water tap or a second stage after a coarser filter.
Which micron? Pick 20 micron (20PS10) for general sediment, 5 micron (5PS10) for finer silt, or 1 micron (1PS10) as a final stage. The 1 micron is tested to remove over 99% of Cryptosporidium cysts. Polyspun cartridges can't be cleaned, so we recommend a new one every 12 months, or sooner if the flow drops.
