Common questions

Does it come with cartridges?

No. It comes as the housings only, without cartridges. Choose cartridges under Cartridges that fit, or get the Clarity Plus II kit for rainwater or the Essence Plus II kit for mains water.

Which cartridges fit?

Any 20" Jumbo cartridge: about 20" long and 4.5" wide. That includes the Waimana pleated, polyspun and carbon block cartridges and the 20" KDF/GAC cartridge.

How often do I change the cartridges?

We recommend replacing cartridges every 6–12 months. Change them sooner if the flow drops. Each cartridge page shows its own change interval.

The Waiora Plus II is a pair of 20" jumbo filter housings from the Waiora range, made by Waimana. It's housing only, so you choose the cartridges to suit your water.

Waimana's 20" system sheets list a powder-coated steel bracket, stainless 25 mm BSP ports and a housing spanner. We recommend up to 85 psi (6 bar), with 125 psi (8.5 bar) as the maximum.

Use Essence cartridges for town water, or Clarity with UV for tank or bore water. Change cartridges every 6–12 months. 3-year manufacturer's warranty on the housing on its own.
