Common questions

Does it come with cartridges?

No. It comes as the housing only, without cartridges. Choose cartridges under Cartridges that fit, or get the Clarity Plus I kit for rainwater or the Essence Plus I kit for mains water.

Which cartridges fit?

Any 20" Jumbo cartridge: about 20" long and 4.5" wide. That includes the Waimana pleated, polyspun and carbon block cartridges and the 20" KDF/GAC cartridge.

How often do I change the cartridges?

We recommend replacing cartridges every 6–12 months. Change them sooner if the flow drops. Each cartridge page shows its own change interval.

The Waiora Plus I is a single 20" jumbo filter housing made by Waimana. It's housing only, so you choose the cartridges.

It comes with a powder-coated steel bracket, 25 mm BSP connections and a housing spanner. We recommend up to 85 psi (6 bar), with 125 psi (8.5 bar) as the maximum.

Use sediment or carbon for town water, or sediment plus UV for tank or bore water. Change cartridges every 6–12 months. 3-year manufacturer's warranty on the housing.
